With final exams approaching (can you believe we are at final exams already?!?!) I wanted to speak about the importance of maintaining regular fitness activity.
I attend spin classes regularly at the Western Student Rec Centre and I find around midterms and finals the class numbers drop dramatically. Did you know exercise is proven to relieve stress? It is so important to try and squeeze regular exercise into your routine even when you have the stress of exams, papers and readings pilling up.
All you need to do is try to work out 1 hour a day, 3-5 times a week. If that is too much, just try to get out of the house and go for a walk. Your body will thank-you….trust me!
Did you know the Western Student Rec Centre is included in your tuition? They have an awesome facility with a variety of fitness classes sure to hit everyone’s interests.
